Background:

Unfortunately, you have been kidnapped by the perpetrator of a series of teenage abductions. Upon waking, you find yourself hidden in an abandoned hotel.

The vicious criminal seems to be patrolling the premises. After breaking free from your restraints, you attempt to find a way to escape.

Object:

The player needs to explore all the rooms and corners of the scene as thoroughly as possible, carefully avoiding the criminal's pursuit, to discover all the necessary items for escape and ultimately unlock the final door to freedom.

Basic Operation:

First-person perspective

Movement – WASD  

Interact – E

Disable Interact – ESC

Camera Control – Mouse 

Crouch – LeftCrtl  

Flashlight - F 

Game Flow:

The player needs to avoid enemy searches while looking for useful items to help them evade and escape.

The game is won when the player successfully opens the final door without being killed by the criminal by using various items properly.


Narrative Design:

During the player's journey, they will find numerous notebooks containing the hotel's introduction or notes from the hotel staff. These narrative texts from the former hotel provide hints about the uses of various items and the approximate locations of important tools.

Levels and items:

Items are crucial elements in this game's level design. By placing most items in different rooms and a few in the corridors, players are encouraged to explore all the rooms in the level as thoroughly as possible. Additionally, some rooms require key items to unlock, which restricts the player's freedom to explore and allows the game flow to be controlled as the designer intended.

Some items are randomly generated at some preset points at the beginning of the game, which can make each player's experience different.
